So this is definitely one of my favourite beauty products of all time. There is nothing more frustrating than buying a product and finding out it doesn’t live up to expectations.
The good thing about this particular product is it exceeded my expectations!!
Its the Cleanse and Polish by Liz Earle, this product has been around for nearly 20 years and the ingredients of this haven’t been changed since it was first launched because it works so well, they haven’t needed to change it. Its also won numerous beauty awards and I can see why.
So essentially its used to take off your make-up. You don’t need to wet your face before you apply it, just massage a small amount into your face and neck, its really creamy in texture, most variations/sizes of this cleanse and polish come with what they call a ‘hot cloth’ basically a piece of muslin cloth. You don’t need to leave the cleanser on for too long, make sure you moisten your cloth wringing out any excess water then simply use it to wipe off the creamy cleanser.
Now I have dry, sensitive and slightly oily skin, so a challenge when it comes to finding the right product. Whenever I normally wash my face and pat dry with a towel within seconds my face starts to feel tight and dry and I have to apply moisturising lotion immediately, but with the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish I don’t need to moisturise afterwards. The first time I used it I couldn’t believe how well it worked AND how soft my skin felt. It removes all your make up (even waterproof make up).
Its not the cheapest cleanser you will find on the market, but I believe its worth spending the money on something that really does work, and something I often comment on in my blogs (because its important to me) is A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY!
QVC sell this and often have offers on that you won’t find anywhere else (they also do a 30 day money back guarantee just in case you don’t like it). Click here to see the range that they sell.
Anyway I will stop raving about this now, but if any of you use this yourself I’d love to know what you think.
